• When and where were you incarcerated, and for how long?
• During that time were you housed in a unit matching your gender identity?
• Were you housed by yourself or with others?
• Did you spend time in solitary confinement, isolation, or administrative confinement?
• If yes, how long were you there? Were you told why? Did you ask to be moved or to stay?
• Were there times when you were denied access to anything important to you, like services, communications, belongings, or human contact?
• If yes, did anyone explain why?
• How did other incarcerated people treat you? Did your gender identity or expression affect your safety or how others interacted with you?
• How did staff treat you? Were they deputies or COs?
• Do you know how your housing placement was decided?
• How long did it take to decide your housing plan? Were you asked for input into the decision? Did you agree with the placement?
