About Becky Peterson
Becky, a queer, autistic, disabled individual, leads Transform Dane as Executive Director, fighting carceral system injustices. Her unique perspective from personal experience drives her advocacy for mental health system improvements. With an MBA from UW-Madison, she applies a strategic "organized chaos" method to reform complex issues. Beyond her professional life, she enjoys scuba diving, tie-dye, and quilling, and cherishes time with her Pomeranian, Benji. Her passion for all living beings fuels her commitment to a more humane world, advocating for direct action against unjust systems.
